After eight years of working in Investec Bank’s Structured Property Finance team, Nick left his position to join Chrysalis Capital in 2021. At the bank he looked after a team of six who managed a property finance book of R8bn. His experience includes structuring senior debt, mezzanine debt, or equity for developments and acquisitions in all sectors including residential, industrial, retail and commercial property. Prior to the bank, he spent nine years building up significant property experience by working mostly in an executive capacity for large property groups, where he worked on the acquisition-, disposal and financing of commercial properties with values ranging from R100mil to R5bn. Earlier in his career, he completed his accounting articles at Deloitte & Touche in Johannesburg, whereafter he worked in accounting roles in New York and London.
