Mark is an ex-banker (Cape of Good Hope Bank and Nedbank Corporate) who specialises in commercial property finance. He joined Chrysalis Capital in 2012 as a Fund Manager.

Prior to joining Chrysalis and post leaving Nedbank, Mark spent time in both the direct property market, as well as the structured finance market, working in an executive capacity for both a large property group and a niche finance house. Here, he gained further experience in the funding, the acquisition- and the disposal of commercial properties, as well as the funding of property development transactions. In 2005, he was instrumental in structuring South Africa’s largest commercial property acquisition.

Mark has a (Hons) BEcon from the University of Stellenbosch, a Diploma (Commercial and Industrial Specialist) and is also a graduate of the Property Development Program.
